Holliday is a charming 2-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a unique way of showing it! He's a delightful blend of goofy affection and devoted companionship, dreaming of a cozy couch and a lap to call his own. You'll be enchanted by his "tippy-taps" – happy little foot dances he does when he's excited, and the adorable "Batman mask" markings around his eyes. Holliday is eager to connect, often initiating cuddles and showering his favorite people with affectionate nose kisses. He's smart, responsive to guidance, and truly thrives on positive reinforcement and human connection.
Ideal Home
Holliday would love a home with a yard where he can safely explore and build his leash skills. He'll do best in a household with older children who won't be overwhelmed by his enthusiastic greetings, as he can be a bit jumpy when excited.
Ongoing Health
Holliday is a rescue, so while his breed and birthday are estimates, he's received all necessary vetting including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccines, multiple deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative. He's been tested and treated for heartworm if needed, and is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Holliday is still learning some aspects of home life, like navigating furniture, but he's a quick and eager learner. He is responsive to correction and guidance. While on leash, he can be a bit of a puller, especially when he sees other dogs, but he's making great progress with continued training. He's also food motivated and gentle when taking treats. He's still learning about doggy play but picks it up quickly.

Holliday is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
