He’s already neutered, house-trained, and crate-trained, and he's absolutely ready to shower his new family with heroic enthusiasm!
Gus was raised with dogs and cats and believes himself to be everyone's big brother. While he's generally very agreeable, he does have his own opinions! He completed professional training with flying colors, showing no resource guarding during his program. However, in his real-life foster home, his guarding instinct has surfaced when he's around familiar housemates and routines.

Gus is looking for a home where he can be the star of the show – no other pets or children, please. He needs devoted adults or teens who appreciate a big-hearted boy who thrives on structure, guidance, adventure, and plenty of belly rubs. Gus also has legendary stamina and loves to run, happily cruising through 10-mile outings. He's a joyful, aerodynamic companion in cool weather and is trusted to free-roam in his foster home.
