A little about them
Iris is a playful, affectionate Corgi mix who may be shy with new people but quickly bonds with those she trusts. Once comfortable, she enjoys hugs, kisses, and playtime and brings lots of joy to the right home.
Ideal Home
- A physically fenced yard is required.
- Iris may do best with another dog, preferably a tolerant male.
- She may chase cats or feel afraid of them; introductions should be slow and use positive reinforcement and redirection.
- She would do best with older children who have lived with smaller-breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
- Iris is vaccinated and spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
- Iris is not house-trained.
- She is walking better on a leash, and a harness has been the most successful option for her longer body style.
