JayBird

Meet JayBird, a sweet and gentle Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who weighs around 37lbs and was likely born on November 25, 2025. JayBird can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her loving and playful personality truly shines! She absolutely adores playing fetch and is always up for a game of chase with a ball. Her very favorite activity, however, is swimming! Whether it's a pool, pond, or creek, JayBird is happiest when she gets to splash around and have a blast.

Ideal Home

JayBird would thrive in a home that can give her a little time and patience to come out of her shell. She's a dog-friendly girl who loves adventure and water, and is looking for a family to build a special bond with.

Ongoing Health

JayBird is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been spayed.

Training & Support

JayBird is still working on her leash manners and would benefit from continued training and patience as she gains confidence. She is already kennel and potty trained. Adopters are eligible for discounted training sessions with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training.

• Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
• Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
