Kara Bear

Kara Bear is a truly special girl looking for a loving home. She's incredibly calm, quiet, and a champion couch potato who won't hog the bed. Kara adores affection and will happily follow you anywhere.

Ideal Home

Kara would thrive in a home where she can feel safe and loved. Due to her past experiences, homes with sporadic movements and loud noises are not recommended, so children are not advised.

Ongoing Health

Kara has some anxiety stemming from past abuse. While she's working through it, she can become antisocial when frightened. Kind words and a calm demeanor usually help her remember she is safe.

Training & Support

Kara is housebroken and very responsive to training. However, it's important to use a gentle voice as she can be sensitive to stern corrections due to past abuse. She gets along with other dogs once she's comfortable with them, and is perfectly fine with cats.
