Tod

Tod is a 3-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. From the day he arrived at Bayou Animal Services, he has been nothing but kind, patient, and incredibly affectionate with everyone he meets. Tod loves people, does great with other dogs, and is wonderful with kids, making him a fantastic companion for a family or anyone looking for a loyal best friend. He's also a favorite among our volunteers, who enjoy taking him out for Sniffari walks. Once we found the right collar and worked with our trainer, Tod quickly learned to walk nicely on leash and now enjoys strolling proudly beside his walking buddies. Tod is the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people. He loves attention, happily leans in for pets, and has the calm, loving personality that makes you feel instantly comfortable around him. Tod has so much love to give and is ready to finally experience life in a home where he can relax, feel safe, and be someone's loyal companion. Tod is also available for foster while he completes heartworm treatment.

Tod is currently heartworm positive. Bayou Animal Services will cover the cost of his heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Tod has learned to walk nicely on a leash with the help of a trainer and the right collar. He is a quick learner and eager to please.
