Gobi

Gobi is a sweet, energetic pup who had a tough start in life. He came from a hoarding situation, battled parvo, and was even on the euthanasia list with his siblings. Thankfully, he joined the LTA family and beat the odds! Now, he's ready for his forever home. Gobi shares herding breed traits like being sharp, driven, playful, and ready for action. He has a high food and toy drive, making him a joy to train and engage with as he continues his obedience training. Gobi is the gentler of his littermates, curious, affectionate, and likes to observe things at his own pace. With structure, consistency, and plenty of outlets for his energy, Gobi will surely thrive. He'd be perfect for trick training, dog sports, hiking, or jogging!

Ideal Home

Gobi would excel in a home that can provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Experience with herding breeds is a big plus, and he would benefit from a confident resident dog, though this is not a requirement. Continued socialization as a puppy is also important.

Ongoing Health

Gobi is generally healthy. LTA does not sterilize puppies until they are at least 6 months old. Until then, puppies are available for foster-to-adopt, with adoption finalized after surgery.

Training & Support

Gobi has a high food and toy drive, making him very trainable. Continued obedience training and socialization are recommended as he grows.
