Tonka

Tonka is an adorable little rascal with a big personality packed into his 18-pound frame. He absolutely loves to play and will enthusiastically engage with dogs of all sizes. When he's not busy being the life of the party, Tonka enjoys cuddling up with his humans, happily claiming his foster mom's pillow, or finding any comfy spot for a good nap, preferably right beside you. He's a smart cookie who is learning to be a well-mannered pup, he's getting the hang of using a potty pad, and he walks nicely on a leash. Tonka loves car rides, going for walks, and really anything that involves spending time with his people. If his humans aren't available, he's content to play with his foster siblings. Although he can be a bit shy at first, Tonka blossoms with attention and treats. He's very focused on his humans, making him an excellent candidate for continued training. While he's still a puppy, he won't grow much larger, but his big heart will always be with him.

Ideal Home

Tonka thrives on interaction and attention. He loves to play with other dogs, both big and small, and is happiest when he's with his humans.

Ongoing Health

Tonka is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Tonka is working on his manners and is learning to use a potty pad and walk on a leash. His engagement with his humans makes him a great candidate for further training.
