Oreo is a resilient and loving 4-year-old Terrier mix who weighs 23 lbs and is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He has a gentle soul and a heart full of love, just waiting for his forever family. Oreo has overcome a difficult past, having been found on the streets and spending months in a high-kill shelter before rescue. He's a dog who takes his time to trust, and he truly thrives with a patient family who understands his need for a slower pace as he settles into his new environment. The kennel has been overwhelming for him, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his true affectionate, goofy, and incredibly loving personality shines through. He adores treats and will happily climb into your lap for snuggles, lean against you for comfort, and become your loyal shadow. Oreo would be the happiest co-pilot for weekend road trips, neighborhood walks, or even just running errands. After adventuring, he's ready for a well-earned cuddle session. He's not asking for much, just someone willing to love him for who he is and let him move at his own pace.
