Meet Joey Golden, a sweet and gentle soul who's as delightful as apple pie! Joey is a young gentleman, believed to be a Golden Labrador Retriever mix, born around June 1, 2025. He currently weighs 30 lbs and is expected to stay this size. Joey has a wonderful, calm personality for his age, perfectly balancing playful antics with snuggly cuddles. He enjoys his toys, loves car rides, and dreams of a home with a fully fenced backyard where he can bask in the sun. Joey is a confident and trusting boy who will happily flop over for belly rubs. He's also a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with other dogs of all temperaments and even respecting senior pups. He's equally happy to be the cherished only pet in the home. Joey is house-trained and crate-trained, and with consistency and treats, he's sure to continue his excellent progress. He's smart, eager to please, and ready to fill your life with joy, comfort, and endless tail wags.

Joey would love a home with a fully fenced backyard where he can enjoy the outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Joey is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Joey is already doing great with potty training and is crate trained. He is a smart pup eager to please, and with consistency, structure, and treats, he'll continue to thrive.

Transporation

Joey is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies to transportation costs.
