About Hugo

Meet Hugo! This handsome, 3-year-old, 65-pound Labrador is a true water enthusiast. If there's a puddle, pond, hose, or lake anywhere nearby, Hugo will find it in seconds and happily dive in! He's a highly active boy who thrives when he has a job to do or training to focus his boundless energy. Hugo was unfortunately abandoned at just one year old, labeled "too crazy" when he was simply a spirited puppy. Now, more mature and ready for a fresh start, he's seeking a patient and loving family to teach him the ropes of being a well-mannered house dog and provide the stability he craves. With ample opportunities for water adventures, consistent training, and outlets for his energy, Hugo is sure to blossom into an incredibly loyal, joyful, and adventurous companion. He's ready for his second chance and a lifetime of love and splashes!

Ideal Home

Hugo would thrive in an active home that can provide him with plenty of structure, enrichment, and consistency. If you have a water source nearby, that's a huge bonus for this water-loving pup!
