Hi there, I’m River! I'm a two-year-old, 37-pound pit bull and Australian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and teddy bear vibes. I'm the kind of guy who doesn't mind a good hoodie fashion show with the kids – I'm gentle, sweet, and always ready for a cuddle. I love to play, especially with rope toys and balls, and my absolute favorite treat is a Beggin Strip! I get along great with kids and dogs, and I don't have any issues with food or resource guarding. I haven't been tested with cats yet, but I can be if you'd like to see how we get along. My manners are pretty good, though I do get excited and jump up sometimes, but a quick correction settles me right down.

I will be neutered and fully vaccinated before I join my new family.

Training & Support

I'm crate trained and walk well on a leash. I'm still working on potty training, but I'm a quick learner and should pick it up fast, especially since I'm past the puppy stage. I do jump up when excited, but I respond well to corrections.
