Madeline (Maddie)

Introducing Madeline, affectionately known as Maddie! This gorgeous gal is about 9 months old and weighs around 40 lbs, with an expected adult size of medium-large. Maddie was rescued from a euthanasia list at a local shelter, where she was initially too scared to walk on a leash. Thankfully, a loving foster family saved her just in time, and she's now thriving and loving her new life! Maddie has the softest fur and is a good girl who enjoys attention. She's doing wonderfully with potty and kennel training, walks well on a leash, and is a great passenger for car rides. She gets along with all dogs and cats she's met with proper introductions and would be happy to have a friendly furry sibling in her forever home.

Ideal Home

Maddie warms up quickly to adults and older children. However, she becomes very frightened around small children and will retreat, shaking. She needs a patient, kind family committed to helping her build confidence through positive experiences.
