Stormy Belle is a true "soul dog," a beautiful Shepherd mix with a stunning black coat and captivating golden-brown eyes. This approximately 5-year-old, 52lb lady knows how to make you feel special and is ready to be a devoted companion. She may be a little shy at first, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up and become your shadow. Her heart is easily won with a tennis ball – she's a natural retriever! Once comfortable, her goofy and silly personality shines through.

Ideal Home

Stormy Belle would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, ideally in a suburban setting rather than a busy city. She prefers the company of older children, around 14 and up, who can understand and respect her need for calm and space.

Training & Support

Stormy Belle is a smart and eager-to-please girl who is easy to train. She already knows "sit" and "down," understands "touch," and has a good recall. She walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and potty trained. She also has excellent house manners and is quiet, making her a great companion for those who work from home. While she enjoys attention, she is not overly demanding.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track her journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
