Ruby

Ruby will celebrate her 5th birthday this year on the 4th of July, and she's a sweet little girl weighing in at about 10 lbs. She's warming up to new people nicely and loves to cuddle on the couch. Ruby is learning to go potty outside and rarely has accidents. She adores children and has been observed following an 11-year-old grandchild around. Ruby gets along well with other dogs and ignores cats. She has also shown no reaction to horses.

Ideal Home

Ruby would thrive in a home that can offer her continued guidance and patience. A home with another dog would be beneficial to help her learn and grow, but it is not a requirement. Because she is not used to being touched, a home with respectful children would be considered.

Ongoing Health

Ruby has no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Ruby is learning to walk on a leash and can follow you nicely when being trained. She also uses a kennel when she is not home or at night, which is also where she eats. It is recommended to keep a cable hooked to her collar in case she somehow gets out of a fenced yard.
