Meet Tamale, a charming 18-month-old, 10-pound Chihuahua with enormous ears and an even bigger heart, ready to share his love once he feels secure.

Tamale has overcome a challenging beginning and is now a playful and affectionate pup, especially enjoying the company of his foster dog siblings. His perfect day includes playtime with his canine friends, savoring treats, and napping in a peaceful spot. He is also making great strides with leash training and would benefit from continued exploration of the world!

Tamale would thrive in a patient and calm home where his humans understand shy or underconfident dogs. He needs a family who can help him discover the kindness and joy the world has to offer.

Tamale is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Tamale is a smart and food-motivated learner, making training quite easy. He is already potty-trained and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He's making progress in learning to be calmer around cats and would benefit from continued positive exposure.
