Opie

Opie is a handsome, adult male Husky with a big heart and a resilient spirit. He was brought to us from Animal Control, where he was sadly facing euthanasia. We knew we had to give this sweet boy a second chance at life. When Opie arrived, his coat was severely matted and he was clearly neglected. We immediately began the process of helping him feel comfortable and safe. While some areas of his coat had to be shaved for his well-being, he's now on the path to recovery and a fresh start. Opie is also heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment with our veterinary partners. Despite his hardships, Opie is already showing us his sweet and strong personality. With love and care, he's going to blossom into the wonderful Husky he was always meant to be!

Ideal Home

Opie would thrive in a home that can provide him with patience and understanding as he continues his recovery.

Ongoing Health

Opie is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. He will need ongoing care and monitoring as directed by his veterinarian.

Training & Support

Opie is house-trained. As he continues to heal and adjust, he will benefit from a consistent routine and positive reinforcement.
