Jilli is a beautiful 9-year-young Mini Poodle with a lovely white and apricot coat. She forms strong bonds with her people and would love a home where someone is around often. If you need to leave for a few hours, she can settle into her crate with a cover, but this is only for short periods. Jilli is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and recently had a dental procedure, which is helping her gain a little weight. She eats Hills Kidney Care kibble with a bit of wet food topper or chopped chicken. While she has gotten along with other dogs in her foster home, she would likely prefer to be the only pet. Jilli has excellent house manners, signals when she needs to go outside, and walks nicely on a leash. She's currently getting used to a doggy door, which is a bit of a learning curve for her! Jilli is a true cuddle bug who loves to be close to her people, whether on the sofa, in a chair, or invited onto the bed for sleep. She responds to her name when called and knows the command "OFF." She's also learning "ENOUGH" to help with barking at deliveries and visitors, though she warms up to them once they're inside. Jilli can be a little anxious during car rides, and CBD oil is used for longer trips to the vet. Her history with children is unknown, but she has shown indifference to cats.
Ideal Home
A home where someone is present most of the time. Jilli would prefer to be the only pet.
Ongoing Health
Jilli is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and recently had a complete dental cleaning. She is currently on a special diet (Hills Kidney Care kibble with wet food topper or chicken) to help her gain weight. She may need continued monitoring for her kidney health and ongoing weight management. She can experience anxiety during car rides, for which CBD oil is utilized.
Training & Support
Jilli is learning to be quieter when visitors or deliveries arrive and is mastering the command "ENOUGH." She is still a bit hesitant with doggy doors.
