Meet River!

River is a lively six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix with a golden coat and soft white accents. She's a medium-sized girl, weighing around 50 pounds, and is full of energy and affection, always ready for an adventure. River loves to bond closely with people, especially men, and is happiest when she can snuggle up for warmth and companionship.

Ideal Home

River thrives on activity and would love a home that enjoys running, hiking, swimming, or long walks. She needs a home without any other pets, as she has shown strong reactivity toward other animals, particularly cats and small dogs. A past incident involving a cat makes a pet-free home essential. Due to limited experience with children and a potential for unease around loud noises, a home with teenagers or adults would be the best fit.

Ongoing Health

River has occasional skin sensitivity that is well managed with vitamins, helping her stay comfortable and happy.

Training & Support

River has completed formal obedience training and knows commands like sit, lay down, wait, and kennel up. She is house-trained and comfortable being left alone for short periods. She would benefit from an experienced pet parent who understands energetic dogs and can continue providing structure, guidance, and clear boundaries. While she may be uneasy around loud noises, she settles beautifully with understanding and support.
