Meet Hachi!
Hachi's story is one of incredible resilience and hope. For most of his life, he lived in an outdoor kennel, having been rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite never knowing true love or the simple joys of a comfortable life, Hachi's spirit remained gentle and loving. He's a total love bug who greets every day with a wagging tail and a desire to connect with people. Hachi is wonderful with children and has a friendly disposition towards everyone he meets, making him a true "people person." He cherishes the things many dogs take for granted, like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family. Before his rescue, Hachi slept on wooden slats and had never even experienced a dog bed. Now, he's ready to leave that past behind and embrace a life filled with love and comfort. Hachi is crate trained, potty trained, and eager to find his forever home. While he prefers slow introductions to other dogs, he bonds well with confident canine companions.
Ideal Home
Hachi is looking for a home where he's included, cherished, and loved. He's a medium-energy dog who enjoys both adventures and relaxing cuddles.
Ongoing Health
Hachi is still gaining weight after years of being underfed. His ideal weight is around 60 lbs, so he's ready for some extra treats to help him reach his goal!
Training & Support
Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He does best with slow introductions to other dogs and tends to get along better with confident pups.
