Hi there! My name is Millie and I'm a 1 year old female Terrier Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home!

Millie came to Santa Barbara Humane from an overcrowded area where many animals are in need of care and homes. Now safe and ready for a fresh start, Millie is looking for a family to call her own.

Millie carries herself with the perfect mix of classic grace and totally fun, spunky energy. She is the kind of dog who runs up for some pets and asks for your name later. Millie is her happiest self when she is the center of attention, and she is an expert at getting it. She has a warm, vibrant, and approachable personality that pulls you in, and before you know it, she's got you serving her a bowl of homemade dog food with a t-shirt that reads "treat dispenser". At one year young she is still learning the in's and out's of house rules like potty training and her basic manners like sit, down and stay. Millie seems to be what we call a "velcro dog" and would love someone who can include her in the daily adventures life has to offer. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
