About Muppet

Meet Muppet! If you're searching for a devoted companion, an eager adventure buddy, and a friend for life, Muppet might be the perfect fit for you. This handsome fellow is about 1 year old and weighs around 60 pounds. He's a lively pup with a striking black and brown coat, possibly a mix of Australian Kelpie and Doberman. Whatever his lineage, one thing is clear: Muppet is bursting with personality, affection, and an infectious enthusiasm for life!

Muppet loves to be in the middle of all your activities. He's incredibly curious and wants to be by your side whether you're busy with chores, exploring the outdoors, or simply relaxing. His ideal day would be spent with his favorite humans, 24/7!

This charming dog is still very much a puppy at heart. He's a snuggle bug who loves to give kisses and believes he's a lap dog, despite his size! He's also a bit of a lovable goofball who is still mastering his manners. Muppet can get excited and might jump up for attention, and sometimes uses his paws to greet people. A family dedicated to continuing his training will help him shine.

Muppet enjoys an active lifestyle and would thrive in a home that offers regular walks, hikes, playtime, and engaging mental stimulation. He adores playing in the water and might even excel in dog sports like agility once he learns to channel his energy. Remember, an active mind is just as crucial as active paws!

Muppet is a social butterfly with other dogs and would love a playful canine sibling, especially one of similar size. He's friendly, enjoys playing, and takes cues from other dogs gracefully. While he can be a bit boisterous, he has a gentle nature and tends to withdraw rather than escalate any disagreements. He's also been living successfully with a cat and gets along well with felines who understand dog behavior.

He is mostly house-trained and shows improvement daily. Muppet walks nicely on a leash once his initial excitement settles, shows no signs of food aggression, and willingly enters his crate when asked. Like many young dogs, he can get into mischief if left unsupervised and has a tendency to chew on inappropriate items, so consistent supervision and providing suitable chew toys are important.

His foster family describes Muppet as incredibly affectionate, eager to please, and always up for a new adventure. He enjoys chasing squirrels, barks at the lawn mower, and explores everything with boundless curiosity. However, at the end of the day, his greatest joy is simply being close to his people.

Muppet isn't seeking a perfect home; he's looking for a family that will support his continued growth into the wonderful dog he is becoming. Could your home be the one he's been waiting for?

Ideal Home

Muppet would thrive in an active home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training. He would do well with another playful dog and is known to get along with dog-savvy cats.

Ongoing Health

Muppet is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed/neutered. He is healthy and shows no current health concerns.

Training & Support

Muppet is working on his leash manners and can sometimes jump up for attention. A family committed to positive reinforcement training will help him succeed. He needs supervision to prevent chewing on inappropriate items and should be provided with plenty of chew toys.
