Meet Guy! This handsome 1-year-old, 42-pound mixed breed boy came to us as a stray from a southern shelter. Guy was initially afraid of people, but he's making great strides in gaining confidence as he experiences new people, places, and things. He's a sweet and huggable boy once he warms up and absolutely adores squeaky toys!

Ideal Home

Guy would thrive in a home with patient adopters who can continue to help him build lasting confidence. He plays well with other dogs and is mindful of respectful children who give him the space he needs. We don't have information about his experience with cats.

Ongoing Health

Guy is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Guy is making progress with his crate and leash training. He's already mastered house training, though accidents can happen as he adjusts to a new environment. Daily walks will help him hone his leash skills and socialization. A secure backyard for playtime and mental stimulation through toys and activities will also be beneficial to prevent boredom.
