Sully is a sweet and gentle 3-4 year old male Labrador mix who weighs approximately 50 lbs. He has a congenital hip condition that prevents him from remaining standing for long periods, requiring a calm, low-activity lifestyle. Despite this, Sully absolutely loves car rides and enjoys taking in the scenery. He is social, friendly, and trusts easily, enjoying people and other dogs, though he's not a fan of constant physical contact. Sully has a beautiful smile that makes him look like the happiest dog in the world, and he will love his family just as deeply.
Ideal Home
Sully needs a peaceful home where he can rest comfortably, receive lots of affection, and doesn't require much exercise. A fenced backyard is a must. He would thrive with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities, but his activity level needs to be kept low due to his condition. Families with a genuine intention to rescue, an open mind about the needs of rescued animals, and experience in dog behavior and training (or a willingness to hire a trainer) are ideal. High tolerance and patience are crucial.
Ongoing Health
Sully has a congenital hip condition. After evaluation by a specialist, surgery is not an option. He is up-to-date on vaccinations (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested for 4DX and heartworm (both negative). He receives monthly preventive treatment with Nexgard Spectra.
Training & Support
Sully is not house-trained. He may require an adjustment period and patience to build trust and bond with his new family. His new family should be prepared to provide a safe, loving environment with a routine and clear boundaries. Owners with experience in dog behavior and training are preferred, or a commitment to hiring a trainer.

Transportation
Sully is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on a cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time fee of $400 USD. This process involves scheduled trips (3-4 times per year with 15-20 adoptions per trip), a partnered transport company from Montana, comprehensive legal and health documentation, and real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group. The transport team will deliver Sully directly to your home and conduct a final home review.
