She is currently receiving treatment for a respiratory infection and is being evaluated for several age-related medical concerns, including her weight, thyroid function, liver values, and possible orthopedic issues. She'll likely benefit from continued veterinary follow-up as she settles into her new home. Through it all, she's remained incredibly cooperative and affectionate, patiently accepting her care and asking only for a few extra pets along the way.
