Misty

Meet Misty! This sweet 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix has a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she's incredibly affectionate. She's a polite companion who coexists well with cats and other dogs, making her a great addition to many households. She would do best with children who are past the "screeching years."

Ideal Home

Misty would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She needs a family that appreciates quiet companions and can offer her kindness, patience, and time to truly blossom. A cozy spot on the sofa would be a wonderful bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this sounds serious, it simply means she needs to use a chest-type harness for walks instead of a collar to stay safe and comfortable. With the correct harness, this condition is not an issue beyond an occasional cough if it's not fitted properly.

Training & Support

Misty is generally well-behaved and polite. Her shy nature means she'll benefit from a patient and understanding family who can help her continue to gain confidence.
