Brains, beauty, and loyalty in one package - that's our survivor Hannah! This compact 10-year-old is a testament to resilience, having overcome a fractured leg and pelvis from a car accident when she was a pup. After extensive surgery and rehabilitation, she made a full recovery and is an active, healthy girl. Sadly, due to changes in her previous adopters' living situation, she's back at the shelter after years in a loving home, and she's very unhappy about it.
Hannah can be a bit nervous and untrusting with new people, but with proper introductions and some yummy treats, her sweet side shines through. She's very in tune to her people's moods, and once you're in her circle of friends, her loyalty and devotion are unmatched. She hasn't been socialized with other dogs and reacts when she sees them at a distance on leash. She knows her commands, is housebroken, and is well-mannered in the house. We think she's a mix of Border Collie, Cattle Dog, and Pittie, and she has the intelligence, energy, and playfulness of all three rolled into one little dog.
Ideal Home
Hannah would do best in a quiet, low-traffic living arrangement where she can be the only pet. An adults-only home is preferred as she hasn't been around children and they would frighten her.
Ongoing Health
Hannah is spayed and has made a full recovery from her past injuries.
Training & Support
Hannah is housebroken and knows her commands. She can be nervous with new people and other dogs, so patient introductions and a consistent routine will help her thrive.
