Haile - Located in Georgia

#MADLoveHaile Atlanta GA area. Haile is a 4mo female belgian malinois born 3/17/26 that was found by a good samaritan wandering the streets of North GA. Haile was so small she would walk through her fence to be fed by the good samaritan. It took her a week to finally catch Haile to bring her into MAD. Because little Haile had to survive on her own she has quite a flight reflex when scared. She will find any breach in your very secure fence and this is why she gets a 30ft long line and "police escort" when outside. She has confidence from friendly dogs, and is slowly realizing that humans are a good thing.

Haile has demonstrated how resiliant this breed is. Within one week of foster care, she is crate trained, rides beautifully in the "moving couch" e.g. vehicle, has learned to swim comfortably with a baby lifejacket, is dog friendly, loves toys...all toys...do you have enough toys? She is weirdly quiet in a crate and for the first time realizes you can nap comfortably without watching for outside dangers. She is non bitey of humans which is definitely different with a mal puppy this age. She is most likely housebroken as she has had zero accidents and will whimper quietly in her crate if she needs to go outside.

What Haile needs: Patience, security and a dog friend or two that would love to play with her. She likes dogs of all sizes and just wants to play. She understands dog communication and will back down immediately if the other dog is crabby. Like most dogs in rescue, everything she is learning about comfort and security will get a restart with her adopter. She will need extra time to be comfortable with humans and a new home and environment. Because if this Haile will benefit from a soft method of training.
