Trip is a charming tri-colored purebred mini poodle who was born on September 12, 2025. He currently weighs 7.6 lbs and is expected to be under 15 lbs as an adult, possibly even less. Trip is a low-shedding dog and will require regular grooming. He was a breeder release because he was an older puppy who hadn't found his home yet, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with him! He was recently groomed in a "doodle look," and he did great. He was shy when he first arrived, but he has blossomed into a super sweet, social boy who loves everyone. He follows his people around and enjoys lapsitting, though he needs a little help getting onto the couch. Once there, he's happy to just relax by your side for hours. He may be a bit shy initially, but with a little patience, his wonderful personality will shine through. Trip gets along wonderfully with cats, kids, and other dogs.
Ideal Home
Trip enjoys the company of cats, kids, and other dogs. Please have any upcoming vacations out of the way before applying to adopt.
Ongoing Health
Trip has been neutered and received his parvo, distemper, and rabies vaccinations. He has also been fecal tested and is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All vet paperwork will go home with him.
Training & Support
Crate training is in progress for Trip. He is not yet house-trained, and adopters will need to continue this training.

Transporation
Trip is located in Antwerp, Ohio, and approved families are always welcome to visit. Transportation is available every other Wednesday to Maumee if needed.
