Sugarplum

Meet Sugarplum! She's a 7-year-old mini poodle with a small frame and a moderate energy level. Sugarplum is a gentle soul who, while initially shy, blossoms into a devoted and affectionate companion once she feels comfortable. She enjoys leisurely walks on the leash and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to help her gain confidence. She's also good with older, respectful children who understand she might need some personal space as she adjusts. Sugarplum is already crate and potty trained, though a little patience may be needed as she settles into a new environment.

Ongoing Health

Sugarplum has undergone a dental procedure with extractions and surgery to remove both mammary chains due to multiple mammary tumors. She also has a stage 3 heart murmur and will require daily medication for the rest of her life, as well as annual checkups with a cardiologist.

Training & Support

Sugarplum is crate and potty trained. A little patience may be needed as she adjusts to a new environment.
