About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is an 11-month-old, 35-pound "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as delicate and beautiful as her namesake flower. She's a sweet, snuggly, and fun-loving pup who enjoys adventures and will make a lucky family very happy! Dahlia has a balanced energy level, thriving with at least two walks a day and loves exploring trails and parks. She's a fantastic copilot in the car and enjoys making new friends, both human and canine. Dahlia is crate and house trained, though she can be vocal when left alone initially, which is something to consider for homes with shared walls. She gets along beautifully with the four resident dogs in her foster home, and would be happiest with another playful dog or regular doggy daycare. While she hasn't been tested with cats or children, she's thought to do well with respectful children 8 and up. Dahlia is a delight at mealtime and settles well in her crate at night after a routine is established.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would do well in a dog-friendly apartment or condo as long as she receives plenty of exercise. She would be happiest with another playful dog in the home or regular opportunities for doggy daycare. Homes with shared walls should be aware of her initial vocalization when left alone. While not yet tested, she is expected to do well with respectful children 8 and up.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house trained but may cry in her crate when first left alone, though she does settle eventually. This behavior will likely need to be re-established in her new home. She enjoys playing with pine cones and carrying sticks.
