Solstice

Solstice is a sweet, shy young dog who is overcoming a rough start in life. She recently arrived with her eight puppies, and though her pups are now seeking their own families, Solstice is ready for her turn in the spotlight! She is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, but her recovery is going well. Solstice is quiet and a little unsure of herself, especially around new people. However, she shows a strong eagerness to make friends with every human she meets and most dogs, too! She gets nervous around cats, so a home without feline companions would be best. With a gentle hand and some patience, Solstice will surely blossom into the amazing dog she's meant to be. She would thrive in a quieter home with a predictable schedule, but once comfortable, she enjoys some playful moments and even car rides!
