BRIGHTON

Meet Brighton, a charming approximately 2-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix who is ready to steal your heart! Brighton's journey to us was a difficult one, as he arrived at a local shelter with a shattered leg that sadly needed to be amputated. But this resilient boy has adapted wonderfully to being a tripod and gets around with ease, happily hopping onto cars and couches. Nothing slows him down! He's incredibly devoted to his foster mom, following her everywhere, and loves nothing more than snuggling on her lap or sleeping beside her at night. Brighton coexists peacefully with other dogs, though he's not one for rough play, and he seems to pay no mind to the foster cats. He's house-trained and walks well on a leash. This sweet boy is looking for a home where he can receive plenty of love and TLC.

Ideal Home

Brighton would thrive in a home that can provide him with lots of love and attention. Due to his past trauma, he is not suited for a home with children under the age of 8 and requires an experienced dog owner.

Ongoing Health

Brighton is a brave tripod and has fully recovered from his leg amputation. He is spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and boosters, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is a sweet and gentle boy who will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and plenty of affection.
