Shilah

Shilah is about as perfect a dog as they come! She's a sweet, super easy girl who is well-behaved and social, with not an ounce of ill will towards any person or thing. Shilah is a gentle spirit who was abandoned and on the streets for a while. She was fortunate to make her way to a kind person who would help her feel safe and loved. Shilah was very timid at first, but cautiously trusted more each day with her foster's help. Then one day she decided it was time to go inside and meet everyone. Each step has moved her towards healing, and since that time, Shilah has blossomed. She enjoys the company of her four housemates, their daily walk, and a good run in an open field. She is not a barker, but instead will let you know if she needs something with a gentle howl or a paw asking you to listen. She likes retiring early for the night and laying her head on your knee for a pet.

Ideal Home

Shilah would love a family who will offer cuddles, belly rubs, and a happy home.

Ongoing Health

Shilah is 8 years old and has some arthritis in her back legs, which has been tremendously helped by a joint supplement. She is spayed and tested HW negative.

Shilah is not a barker, but instead will let you know if she needs something with a gentle howl or a paw asking you to listen.
