Al is a 2-year-old bundle of love and personality, weighing about 25 lbs! He was rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous family surrendered him. Now, Al is searching for a forever home where he can enjoy playing fetch, staying close to his favorite humans, and simply being the happy pup he is.
Al can be a little timid at first, but he's incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. He absolutely adores his toys, especially playing fetch, and is always up for some playtime before happily snuggling up on the couch. He's content in a home with or without other dogs, as long as he receives plenty of love!
Al is house-trained and crate-trained, and he knows several commands. He's not a big barker (unless the UPS truck is visiting!) and is very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He enjoys being around his people and is happy to relax with the family after a good play session.
Ideal Home
Al would love a home with an adequately and fully fenced yard. Electric or underground fences are not accepted.
Ongoing Health
Al is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.
Training & Support
Al is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows commands. He is not a barker, except for occasional alert barking at the mail carrier. His food motivation makes him eager to learn!
