Max

Max is an adorable 11 lb. Chihuahua mix who is eight years old. He loves people and is great with other dogs and cats. Max is a well-behaved boy who is already crate trained and house trained. He enjoys hanging out with his person and is not a barker, except to let you know he needs to go outside.

Ideal Home

Max would do best in a low-energy, adult-only home due to his medical condition. He will make a wonderful, loving companion.

Ongoing Health

Max has bilateral luxating patellas. He has adapted well and has learned to manage his condition by prancing to avoid putting too much weight on his back legs.

Training & Support

Max is a smart boy who listens well. His only vocalizations are when he needs to go potty, making him easy to understand.

Transportation

Max is currently in a foster home in South Mississippi. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport service every 2-3 weeks to the following states: VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. We can be available for a video call once an application has been approved.
