Valentine

Meet Valentine, a 5-year-old Pyrenees/Hound mix with a heart full of love and a spirit for adventure! He's a handsome hunk who previously found his forever home with us, but due to circumstances, he's back on the search for a family to call his own. Valentine thrives in a country setting where he has plenty of space to roam and explore. He's a high-energy, loyal companion who loves to have a job and will happily be your shadow, always ready for a good head scratch and all your attention. He's even shown his guardian instincts by running off a bear! While he's housetrained and walks well on a leash, he finds city life overwhelming and prefers the sunshine to the rain.

Ideal Home

Valentine would thrive in a country environment with plenty of room to run and explore. He's looking for a home that understands his need for space and freedom, as he struggles with the stress of city life and crowded areas.

Ongoing Health

Valentine is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Valentine is housetrained and walks well on a leash. He gets along with dogs, cats, and livestock, and is learning to be well-behaved around chickens. His primary need is a home that can accommodate his energetic and adventurous nature.

Transporation

We are located in South Carolina and offer transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We can arrange local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
