Sequoia

Meet Sequoia! This beautiful three-year-old Cane Corso weighs approximately 100 pounds and embodies many of the wonderful qualities of her breed: loyal, affectionate, and devoted to her people. Sequoia thrives on attention and loves to be by her family's side. She warms up quickly to new people and doesn't mind a bath or nail trim, which speaks to her wonderful temperament. She was a favorite at her previous shelter, a testament to her beautiful soul.

Ideal Home

We are seeking an adult-only home that understands large guardian breeds and is committed to providing structure, supervision, and appropriate management. Due to her size, breed traits, and reported history, Sequoia should not live with other pets or children.

No specific health conditions are noted.

Training & Support

Sequoia's previous owners reported some resource guarding behaviors involving an unaltered male Cane Corso and a young child. While we have not observed these behaviors in our care, we recommend continued supervision and management. As with any newly adopted dog, allow her time to decompress and learn the expectations of her new home. We also provide training to any approved adopters.
