Stewie

Stewie has one eye, but he sees more goodness in the world than most people do with two! He was found chained in a junkyard, starving, heartworm-positive, and suffering from a devastating facial injury that ultimately cost him one of his eyes. Thanks to the RACC's Team Tommie Fund, Stewie received the surgery he needed to heal. After twenty-one weeks at Animal Aid, Stewie is heartworm-free, healthy, and pleasantly plump. Remarkably, Stewie doesn't carry any bitterness; he approaches every day with enthusiasm, seeing every walk as the greatest, every toy as his favorite, and every person as the best ever. He loves with his whole heart and body, his tail wagging a mile a minute.

Ideal Home

Stewie gets sad when he's lonely and misses people when they leave. He'd do best in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods. If you're looking for a perfectly calm and polished dog, Stewie might not be the best fit.

Stewie's future family will need a little patience to help him channel his abundant joy into good manners. He is devoted, loyal, and very eager to please.
