Meet Daario, a handsome Labrador mix born in April 2019 who weighs 61 pounds. He's a loving, affectionate, and playful boy with an energetic spirit and a love for the outdoors. Daario is looking for an active family to share his adventures with, whether that's playing in the yard, going for long walks, or simply enjoying time together in the fresh air. He's a fast learner who aims to please and thrives on love, treats, toys, and positive reinforcement. Daario is also eligible for our Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program, where we offer a reimbursement of up to $300 per year for qualifying senior dog expenses like wellness exams, vaccinations, and heartworm prevention.

Daario would be a great addition to an active family. A fenced yard is required for his adoption.

Daario is up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He has had an extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian.
Training & Support
Daario is crate trained and eager to learn. While he's still learning some house manners, his love for learning and desire to please will help him quickly master new skills.
Application Details:
Applications start by contacting us through Wags. All our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95. This fee includes:
- Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian
- Up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention
- Spayed/Neutered
- Microchipped
Requirements for adoption could include the following:
- A fenced yard (we do not accept invisible fences). We will ask for a video that shows the entire fence to verify there are no holes or gaps.
- A veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention). We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify your history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
- If you don't have previous veterinary history, you will need to purchase a 3-month supply of heartworm prevention from our vet.
- If you rent, verification with your landlord regarding pet acceptability and any restrictions.
