Meet Smokey, a 2-year-old male Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix with a heart full of love to give! Smokey came to us as a stray and has since blossomed into a sweet, affectionate, and incredibly kind-hearted companion. He weighs 53 pounds, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and is eagerly awaiting his forever family. Smokey enjoys a good balance of play and relaxation; he loves a lively game of chase with his canine pals but is equally happy to snuggle up on the couch for a movie marathon. He's a smart boy and a quick learner, always eager to please.
Ideal Home
Smokey would thrive in a home with a yard and someone who works from home or can be with him for most of the day, as he experiences some separation anxiety. He would do best in a low-traffic environment due to his shyness around new people. Smokey would prefer a home without cats.

Smokey is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Smokey is fully potty trained and walks well on a leash, though he can be a bit nervous and bark out of excitement when meeting strangers, but he's easily redirected. He's not a big fan of crates and prefers not to be shut in. While he does cry a bit when left alone, he doesn't engage in destructive behavior and eventually settles down. Patience and understanding will go a long way in helping him feel secure.
