About WOLFIE > Bleeding Heart Society

Wolfie is a gorgeous and unique boy who is about a year old and weighs 63 lbs. He's very people-friendly, has shown no reactivity to other dogs or cats, and loves children. Wolfie is an athletic and high-energy dog who thrives on activity and joyful play. He is incredibly affectionate, loves kisses and snuggles, and is a gentle soul who takes treats with care. Despite spending time in isolation, Wolfie is a smart boy who already knows how to sit on command and is very attuned to communication. While we haven't had the opportunity to see him in action, we imagine he could be brave and protective. Wolfie loves life, especially treats, walks, adventures, and attention – he'll choose adventures over treats any day, even though he's very food-motivated! He's not a fan of being cooped up, much like a typical husky. His coyote-like appearance is striking, and he has a way of making you laugh. Wolfie has kept a clean kennel, and we believe with a consistent daily structure, he will adapt quickly to a home environment. He has no known storm or separation anxiety or behavioral issues.

Ideal Home

Wolfie would do best in an active home with a family or individual/couple who enjoys activities like hiking. He's eager to engage with his person and would likely enjoy a home where he can explore and have adventures.

Ongoing Health

Wolfie has no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Wolfie has never lived in a house before, so he will need some time to adjust to this new environment. With slow introductions and consistent structure, he is expected to adjust well. While he walks nicely on leash once he's explored his surroundings, he can be excited initially. He also needs no further training for car rides, as he's very well-behaved.
