Zeus McGoose is a handsome 2-year-old, approximately 28lb boy with a coat of golden-red locks, adorable freckles, and expressive forehead wrinkles that make him look like he walked right out of a storybook. His floppy ears deserve their own fan club! Zeus is sweet, fun, and easygoing, striking a perfect balance of playful and affectionate without being overly demanding. He enjoys his squeaky toys, lounging in the sun, and simply being part of your day. He has a curious nature and a gentle mouth when taking treats, eager to please and enjoys learning new things. Zeus is crate trained and doing very well with potty training, with accidents being rare. We believe he may be a Cocker Spaniel mix, but whatever his genetic makeup, he's a real catch!
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys, zoom around, and enjoy sunbathing. We think he has great potential as a family dog, especially for a family with older children who would love a goofy, toy-loving companion.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He is microchipped and will receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Zeus is crate trained and is doing very well with potty training, with accidents being rare. He knows how to sit and is eager to please, making him a joy to train. His foster notes that he is still perfecting his potty spot awareness, but has a solid foundation.

Transporation
Zeus is currently fostered in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
