Meet Rome, a handsome, scruffy mix with a happy, playful personality and a big love for the outdoors. He's dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and the kind of pup who thinks every day is a good day to explore. Rome came back to us through no fault of his own. He was adopted by a couple who truly didn't realize that puppies need training, structure, and daily exercise. At six months, Rome is strong, active, and very much a normal growing dog – and he simply needed more time and guidance than they were prepared to give. So now he's looking for a home that understands the deal: puppies don't train themselves, and great dogs come from consistency, patience, and showing up for them. Rome is sweet, eager to learn, and absolutely worth the effort. If you want an outdoorsy buddy who will make you laugh, keep you moving, and love you with his whole goofy heart, Rome's your guy.
