Atlas is a 4-year-old neutered Labrador Retriever with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of personality packed into his large, lovable frame. He's a goofy, people-loving dog who thrives on human connection and absolutely adores being involved in whatever his people are doing. Atlas is happiest when he's close to his humans, often bringing them "gifts" like toys or socks to show his affection, and he's convinced he's a lap dog! When the day winds down, Atlas transforms into a dramatic sleeper who fully commits to rest and relaxation.

Ideal Home

Atlas would thrive with an active lifestyle and people who enjoy engaging with their dog, providing regular physical and mental outlets. He has generally been good with children and enjoys playing with them, but due to his size and enthusiasm, he does best with kids who can be supervised and supported with boundaries. When overly excited, Atlas may playfully mouth as a way of showing affection, and he appreciates gentle handling. Atlas has lived successfully with a cat and was friendly and tolerant. He can become overstimulated around other dogs and may benefit from slow introductions or being the only dog in the home.
