Meet Gorgeous Atlas! This sweet boy was born to his stray mama on 11/14/2024 in a challenging neighborhood in Texas. The kind residents did their best to care for Atlas and his siblings before we were able to bring them into our care. Atlas and his brother Grayson are the last of over 40 rescued puppies and adult dogs from this location awaiting their forever homes. They are beautiful, incredibly smart, affectionate, happy, and healthy boys who have been living in a foster home for several months. They love to run and play in the yard, enjoy their toys, soak up the sun, lounge by the fireplace, and snuggle with their foster mama. Atlas is a very smart and food-motivated pup, which will make training a breeze! He's curious, goofy, gentle, playful, and a truly sweet companion. Atlas is 100% house-trained, weighs about 65lbs, knows basic commands, sleeps soundly through the night, and is a genuine gem of a dog. While he would be thrilled to be adopted with his brother Grayson, it's not a requirement. We are confident he will bond with another dog in his new home after a slow introduction and will certainly bond with his new humans! He has happily coexisted with his foster siblings—a 100lb lab, a 30lb beagle mix, and a 70lb pittie—being submissive to them all and eager to play and love. While breed guesses are always a fun challenge in rescue, one thing is for sure: Atlas is 100% adorable!
