Seth is patiently waiting for his forever home! He has been with us for over a year and is ready to find his perfect match. Seth came to us as a stray from the Stark Pound and spent 176 days there before we brought him into our care due to high anxiety, which manifested as excessive drooling and pacing. He's estimated to be around 2 years old now.
While he initially went to a foster home, it became clear he wasn't quite ready for a home environment due to past trauma and low confidence. To help him, we enrolled Seth in training with our wonderful trainer, Bruce. Seth has been living and training with Bruce for over a year and is doing wonderfully! He's been ready for a home for a long time and truly deserves a loving family to call his own.
Seth is a super sweet lover boy! He used to be fearful of tall men and other animals competing for food, but with his newfound confidence and the tools he's learned, he's a brand-new dog ready for a second chance. He's good with other dogs, cats, and kids. While he was previously food aggressive with other dogs, this has been addressed through training and will be discussed further.
Ideal Home
We're looking for a home that will continue his training, maintain strong boundaries, and provide consistent leadership to help Seth feel secure. Understanding his needs is key to helping him be his best, most confident self.
Ongoing Health
Seth is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered.
