Meet Dellie! This 13-week-old, 12-pound bundle of joy is a spirited and sweet girl with a heart full of love. We believe she's a mix of small terriers, possibly with some Feist, Jack Russell, and Beagle in her lineage. Despite her small size, Dellie is incredibly athletic and sturdy, making her the perfect adventure buddy or even a candidate for agility training! She's a quick learner, already mastering "sit," "lay down," "give paw," and "spin around." Dellie is a brave and curious pup who notices everything and approaches new situations with confidence. She's also a house-training rockstar, a champion at navigating agility courses, and loves water! When she's not exploring, Dellie enjoys snuggling on the couch or playing with her toys and food puzzles. She's energetic and playful but also knows how to settle down for quiet relaxation. Dellie is a watchdog who will alert you to visitors but isn't excessively vocal. Her quiet demeanor in her crate suggests she'd be a great travel companion.
Ideal Home
Dellie would be happiest in a home with children over the age of 8. A fenced yard would be ideal for her to explore, but plenty of walks and indoor exercise can also keep her happy. She might do well with another playful and submissive dog after proper introductions, but she would also be perfectly content being the queen of her castle. Small animals are likely not a good fit due to her strong prey drive.
Ongoing Health
Dellie's adoption fee of $550 includes spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm treatment, and any other necessary medical care.
Training & Support
Dellie is a very smart pup who learns quickly. While she's a house-training rockstar, she is an assertive gal who is still learning to share her people and space with other dogs. With time and proper introductions, she may learn to coexist with a canine companion.
