Bullseye is a charming 6.5-month-old Retriever/Pit Bull mix, weighing in at 40 pounds and expected to grow into a large, gentle companion. Rescued from a rural Texas dumping ground with his mother and siblings, Bullseye has blossomed in a loving foster home. He's the quiet observer of the litter, often taking in the scene before joining in the fun. He adores dinnertime, belly rubs, and snuggling with his people, offering a calm and thoughtful presence that's utterly endearing. Bullseye is also playful and enjoys romping with his siblings, showing a great balance of playful energy and a desire for affection.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home that can provide consistent positive reinforcement, patience, and ongoing socialization. He has done well with children and other dogs, but has not been tested with cats. A home with a resident, friendly, well-mannered dog is preferred to help mentor him, though a home committed to structured socialization outside the home will also be considered. Homes where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time are also preferred.
Ongoing Health
Bullseye is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty trained but may have occasional accidents as he adjusts to a new routine. He is working on leash walking and basic obedience, and will benefit greatly from continued positive reinforcement, consistency, and socialization.
