Meet Captain!
Captain is a seven-year-old dog who is full of spark, attentive, warm, and completely present. He has a way of making you feel like the most interesting person he's ever met! He came to us knowing his basic commands, walking nicely on leash, and being crate trained. What really impressed our trainers was his focus, especially during agility work where he showed off his confidence, athleticism, and drive. Captain is smart and eager to work with you.
When he's not training, Captain is a champion couch potato who enjoys movie nights, slow mornings, and warm spots on the cushions. He's a medium-energy dog who loves his daily walks and outdoor time, but he's also happy to relax indoors afterward. His short coat is immaculate, and his fosters have described him as one of the cleanest dogs they've ever had. Captain is very people-oriented and has shown affection towards children. His settled, gentle presence makes him a natural fit as an emotional support animal for the right person.
Ideal Home
Captain has a strong prey drive and is not safe around cats, livestock, or small animals. He can do well with other dogs, but introductions should be done thoughtfully on neutral ground. His ideal placement is with someone who has experience with bully breeds and understands that structure and consistency are key to his thriving. A securely fenced yard is a strong plus.
Ongoing Health
Captain is up to date on vaccinations and is on a three-way flea, tick, and heartworm prevention protocol. He has been cleared as healthy.
Training & Support
Captain knows his basic commands, walks well on leash, and is crate trained. He's a smart dog who enjoys working with his people.
